About this Course

IBM Cognos ICM: Fundamentals of Configuration (V8.0) is a 4-day, instructor-led course focusing on the Composer Module of the Admin client. During the course, students will learn the basic structure of the software and its navigation, how to create tables and calculations to produce results based on common business requirements, and how to create Data Stores from their calculation results. In addition, students will learn how to use both Portal Access and Workflow Manager to make existing reports available in the Web client. The last day of class will find students working in small groups to complete an incentive compensation management case study, applying knowledge learned in the previous 3 days to solve the business requirements. At the end of this course, clients will be able to transfer knowledge learned to solve their own business requirements within IBM Cognos ICM.
